I Was Waiting on a Billion-Dollar Deal — But I Knew I Had to Keep Moving
"Confidence is built during the wait — not just after the win."
There was a time in my life when I believed one deal could change everything. A national-scale project. A tender worth billions. My brother was at the top of it—invested deep, trusted by many. I was promised a seat when it all went through. But until then, I was stuck. Not because I was lazy. Not because I didn’t have ideas. But because I was waiting.
For 10 months, I stood in the background. I watched documents get drafted, materials shipped, meetings held. I knew the names involved. I saw the MOU. I even helped advise—giving insight, catching blind spots, making sure my brother asked the right questions. But I wasn’t officially in the picture. Not yet.
The Weight of “Not Yet”
When people talk about success, they often forget about the waiting. The heavy silence before a contract is signed. The sleepless nights wondering, “What if this is all just a dream?” Or worse, “What if this is a scam?”
I never doubted my brother. I trust him deeply. But I also know how the world works. Just because a project is big, doesn’t mean it’s solid. And just because something looks official, doesn’t mean it’s safe.
So I stayed where I was—close, supportive, but grounded.
The Day I Chose to Move
Back in January 2025, something shifted. I realized I couldn’t keep building my life around something I couldn’t control. I didn’t want to wake up months later and realize I had wasted my time waiting for someone else’s move.
So I started creating again.
I picked up the camera. I reopened my blog. I restarted my YouTube channels—relaxation videos, music, affiliate content. I began to move—not because I gave up on the project, but because I believed in building my own momentum.
The Truth About My Life Right Now
Today, as I write this, I’m tired. I just came back from taking my brother to the airport. He’s flying to Jakarta for yet another meeting on the same project.
And me? I’m back here—editing videos, studying Japanese, planning my next uploads, writing this blog.
Some people might think I’m wasting time. But I know better. I’m planting seeds.
If the Door Opens… I’ll Walk In Prepared.
If that project becomes real, if my brother calls me tomorrow and says, “Let’s go, I need you,” I’ll be ready.
But if it doesn’t? If the deal dies quietly like so many big dreams do? Then I’ll still be moving forward—because I never stopped.
To Those Who Are Waiting Too...
Maybe you’re waiting for a call. A promotion. A visa. A green light.
But while you wait, build. Don’t stop building. Even if no one sees it yet. Even if it’s just a quiet blog post on a quiet morning after dropping someone at the airport.
One day, you’ll look back and realize: You didn’t just wait. You grew.
